The Indian Institute of Technology-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) is an engineering entrance exam conducted annually for admission into one of the most prestigious Institution of India- the IITs.
IIT JEE 2018
The notification for IIT JEE Main 2018 was released in November 2017. The last date to fill the form was 01-01-2018. Hence, all the is left to do now is to wait for the exam and prepare your 100 percent. CBSE will release the admit card in second week of March 2018. The dates for the exam are:
 JEE Main offline exam: 08-04-2018
 JEE Main online exam: 15-04-2018 and 16-04-2018
 JEE Advanced (only online mode): 20-05-2018
The result of JEE Main will be announced on 30-04-2018 for Paper I and 31-05-2018 for Paper II. Moreover, the counseling is scheduled for July 2018.
EXAM PATTERN
IIT JEE Main Paper I is conducted for admissions to B.E/B.Tech course and Paper II for admissions to B. Arch/B. Planning courses.
Paper I
 Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
 Number of Questions: 30 questions from each subject.
 Total Marks: 360 marks (120 marks for each section).
 Type of Questions: Objective type.
 Exam mode: Offline as well as Online.
 Exam Duration: 3 hours.
 Marking Scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Paper II
 Subjects: Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing.
 Number of Questions: 30 questions in Mathematics, 50 in Aptitude Test and 2 in Drawing.
 Total Marks: 390 marks.
 Type of Questions: Objective type for Mathematics and Aptitude Test and Subjective for Drawing.
 Exam mode: Offline.
 Exam Duration: 3 hours.
 Marking Scheme: +4 marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
